iPhone review

Well folks... I just got my iphone. YAY!!! so far here is what i have to say about it:

The good: The Apple iPhone has a great large display, the touchscreen functions are outstanding. It has a sleek design. The Safari browser is better than expected, and it offers easy-to-use apps. As an iPod, it shines and stands out from all the other mp3 phones on the market.

The bad:The iPhone has variable call quality and lacks some basic features found in many cell phones, including stereo Bluetooth support and 3G compatibility. Without the 3G capability, needless to say that the file transfer is slow. Integrated memory is small for an iPod, and you have to sync the iPhone to manage music content.

I know since it is the first generation some problems are to be expected and i think apple did a pretty good job in delivering an MP3 player with a cellphone integrated. Now i would prefer to see the opposite, a cellphone with an mp3 player integrated. I am pretty sure that the next generation of i phone will set new standards in the industry. But right now, i dont think it is worth the money spent for.

Here is the situation. I have a palm treo cellphone with windows on it. Of course i also have a desktop PC as well as a laptop pc AND 1 tv. Since my room is very small My 17 inch screen laptop is large enough to watch TV. I also have high speed internet eith an unlimited plan on my cellphone/PDA. I want to be able to watch my existing cable subscription on my phone and laptop and pc from anywhere. i am cought in between 2 choices here. I made some research on ebay and i found a program that you can install and will give you up to 9999 TV chanels for free for 9.99$ Fine, i wont be able to watch TV on my cellphone but HEY I'm a student, so if i can drop my cable subscription to save a few bucks a month i will !!! I want to know, is that thing a scam ? Is there a catch-22 to this ? Please let me know.

SECOND option which is the one i beleive in is to buy a slingbox. Basically it is a TV streaming device that enables users to remotely view their cable, satellite, or personal video recorder (PVR) programming from an Internet-enabled computer with a broadband Internet connection. Do you guys know if there is other devices like that other than the slingbox ? (I am talking about products by different companies than Sling media.) On ebay they are almost as expensive as a brand new one tha comes with a 1 year warranty. I would be stupid to buy it used for 15$ difference.

If you have any other ideas or know any products like that, please give me a shout !!!!!

I cant beleive i'm still hooked to that game !!! It is the end of the semester so i was dragging on the levels compared to my WOW Mates. I'm playing a level 35 human warlock that i started 4 month ago (that's right, 4 months and still level 35 ... My mates are now level 60 and above so i cant play with them :( All the people in my guild are going for Raids and i can't :(. I was stuck grinding on my own (so boring...). I really got pissed off and started looking on the intenet for leveling strategies and stuff like that. I couldn't find anything relevent to levelup fast. I ended up on this website http://www.teamidemise.com/. I was so pissed that i purchased it through paypal... i told myself if it's a scam i can always claim my moneyback to paypal.

Guess What!?!?! i was extremely surprised and their strategies are awesome !!!i'm now level 46 in 1/2 a day including the time that i took to reead and apply their strategies. i dont know about the 1 to 70 in a few days though but it was worth the 30 bucks i paid for !!!!! I'll keep on applying their strategies and i'll let you peeps know when i reach 70 so can kick your arses !!!!

Problems installing CentOS on VMWare

I hope somebody can help,
I have been trying to solve this issue for almost 2 hours. At first, i was getting an error saying that CentOS could not detect the HDD. i was going through some troubleshooting and my first guess was that it was because of the Guest OS. I chose redhat since CentOS is based on it. Did not fix the problem. I decided to set It up manually. I figured out that CentOS was using lsilogic SCSI not buslogic SCSI. That fixed the first problem. Now, for no apparent reason the install is crashing right in the middle leaving me with a blackscreen, no error message to help me troubleshoot... nothing !!Anybody can help ???

I think facebook is totally addictive. It is for that reason that i stopped using it as the progress of my study was suffering from Facebook addictive powers lol. I sent countless of hours on there. I think it's great to find back people that you havn't seen in decades but i still decided to drop it off ! Matthew Greensmith from http://www.geeknewscentral.com seems to think it's not all that of a life changing functionality. I have seen people loosing there life for mIRC back ni the days. I've seen people loosing all human contacts from facebook. What's next, the will integrate a World of warcraft plugin to facebook to make it even more addictive?!?

I personally think facebook is as addictive as my coffee every morning !! now if people wanna talk to me, just do it on MSN or call me up if you still know what a phone is ! lol

The "brain" is a small puddle of 25,000 living neurons taken from a rat's brain and cultured in a glass dish.

"Over that we put the living cortical neurons from rats, which rapidly begin to reconnect themselves, forming a living neural network – a brain." The individual neurons are distributed randomly at the beginning of the experiment, and are not connected. The aircraft simulation of an F-22 fighter jet feeds data into the grid about flight conditions; whether the plane is flying straight and level or not. The neurons begin to organize themselves, forming connections to each other. The neurons analyze the data and respond by sending signals to the plane's controls.
At first, the simulated plane drifts randomly. But the neural network slowly learns; currently, the brain can control the pitch and roll of the simulated craft in most weather conditions, including storms and hurricane-force winds.
DeMarse points out that, while computers have fast processing speeds, they can't approach the flexibility of the human brain. Certain kinds of computation, like recognizing a previously unseen piece of furniture as a table or a lamp, is difficult to program into a computer. Peter Watts points out this very same fact in his choice of living neurons as pilots:
Humans had always been able to integrate 3-D spatial information better than the machines that kept trying to replace them...
Until now, apparently...

So addictive :(], i drive a Nissan 300Z, I like to get wasted, eat pizza and watch UFC. I am studying to be a Network / system Admin (*NIX).
